In the 2023-2024 Year of Service, Raised to Reach Back, Inc. (R2RB) made a significant impact on our community through several key initiatives.

 

We kick-off the season with a Swing into Summer  - Top Golf Community Celebration and Scholarship Fundraiser, where we raised over $13,000 to launch our Scholarship Program.

With Operation Warm, we provided over 200 new winter coats to students, ensuring they stayed warm throughout the cold months. During our Thanksgiving Outreach, we served 100 hot meals to the homeless and distributed 100 Thanksgiving grocery bags to families in need within our community.   On MLK Day, we extended our reach to the homeless by providing over 100 care packages filled with essential items.

 

Melissa's Closet continued offering quality clothing and essential items to students and the community.  In January 2024, we were honored to received a generous $25,000 grant from Alfred Street Baptist Church’s Tithe-the-Tithe Program, to expand Melissa's Closet's reach.

In June 2024 R2RB hosted our Inaugural Scholarship Awards Reception, where we proudly awarded over $5,000 to deserving high school graduates, supporting their future educational endeavors.

These achievements reflect our commitment to service and the incredible generosity of our supporters, who help us make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.
